Thread, Not Ink
Embroidery is the art of stitching your design directly into the fabric. Unlike printing, which sits on top, embroidery becomes part of the garment. This gives it a premium weight and sheen that printing can’t replicate.
We take your logo, ‘digitize’ it (convert it into a stitch map), and run it on our industrial machines. It’s the standard for corporate professionals, construction management, and premium clothing brands.
Why Embroidery?
Premium Aesthetics
It looks expensive (even if it's affordable). Great for first impressions.
Indestructible
Threads don't fade or crack. The logo will likely outlast the jacket it's on.
Any Garment
The best choice for hats, toques, textured polos, and fleece.
Multiple Colors
pricing is usually based on stitch count, not color count, so you can use multi-colored logos freely.

Choose Embroidery For:
We recommend stitches over ink when:
- You are branding hats (Snapbacks, Dad hats, Toques)
- You want uniforms for sales or management staff
- You are decorating heavy winter jackets
- You want a logo that lasts forever

Upload Design
Send us your logo or artwork. Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) or a 300 ppi PNG work best, and we can clean up whatever else you have.
Digital Proof
We send you a digital mockup for approval before production begins.

How We Quote Embroidery
Pricing works differently than printing:
Stitch Count
The dense the logo, the longer it takes to sew. Size matters more than colors.
Quantity
We have price breaks for 12, 24, and larger tier orders.
Digitizing Fee
A one-time setup fee to create the file. Waived on large efficiency orders.

Get a QuoteCan you do 3D Puff embroidery?
Yes! 3D puff is great for hats. It adds a foam layer under the stitches to make the design pop out.
Can I bring my own items?
Yes, but we must inspect them first. Some materials (like heavy leather or very thin silk) might not work with our machines.
What is the smallest text you can stitch?
We recommend text be at least 0.25 inches tall. Anything smaller becomes a thread blob and isn’t legible.
What is the minimum order for custom embroidery?
Custom embroidery has no minimum (1 piece is fine). A one-time setup fee covers creating your stitch file, so very small runs cost more per piece. Larger runs spread that fee and reduce the cost per piece.
How does embroidery hold up compared to screen printing?
Embroidery is generally more durable than screen printing on high-use garments because the design is stitched directly into the fabric rather than applied as ink on top. It does not peel, crack, or fade the same way a printed design can over time. This makes it a strong choice for uniforms, workwear, and caps that go through frequent washing. For garments where longevity and a premium finish matter, embroidery is often the preferred option.
What types of garments work best with embroidery?
Embroidery works best on structured, stable fabrics like polos, caps, jackets, tote bags, and fleece. These materials hold their shape under the stitching tension and produce clean, well-defined designs. Very thin or stretchy fabrics like lightweight t-shirts or athletic wear can be more challenging because they may distort under the needle. For those garment types, screen printing or DTF is usually a better fit.
What is digitizing and why does it matter?
Digitizing is the process of converting your logo or artwork into a stitch file that the embroidery machine can read. The quality of the digitizing directly affects how clean and accurate the final embroidered design looks. A poorly digitized file can result in thread gaps, misaligned edges, or stitching that does not match the original artwork. Good digitizing accounts for stitch density, direction, and underlay to produce the best possible result on the specific garment type being used.
How many colors can be used in an embroidered design?
Most standard embroidery designs use between one and eight thread colors. More colors are possible but add complexity and can increase production time. Photographic or gradient-heavy artwork is generally not well-suited for embroidery because thread cannot replicate subtle color transitions the way ink can. Simple, bold logos with defined color areas translate best and give the cleanest results. If your design has many colors, we can advise on simplification during the digitizing stage.
Can embroidery be done on caps and hats?
Yes, caps are one of the most common items we embroider. Structured caps with a firm front panel are the easiest to work with and produce the cleanest results. Unstructured or very soft caps can sometimes cause slight distortion, but experienced digitizing and backing material help minimize this. Front, side, and back placements are all possible depending on the cap style and brim shape. Caps with embroidery are a popular choice for teams, events, and corporate gifting.
How do I care for embroidered garments?
Embroidered garments should be washed in cold water on a gentle cycle. Turning them inside out before washing helps protect the stitching from friction with other items. Avoid bleach and high heat drying, as these can weaken the thread and backing material over time. With proper care, embroidered designs are extremely long-lasting and maintain their appearance through many wash cycles.
Can the same logo be used across different garment types?
Yes, the same digitized logo file can be applied across multiple garment types, but the stitch size and density may need to be adjusted for each application. A logo that works well on a polo chest will need to be resized for a cap front or a jacket sleeve. These adaptations are standard practice and are handled during the digitizing or setup stage. Using one consistent logo across different garments keeps your branding unified while the application is optimized for each item type.
