What we print

Four ways to get your logo onto a garment

Which one you want depends on quantity, artwork and how long the piece needs to last. If you're not sure, that's fine — tell us the job and we'll tell you the method.

01

Screen Printing

Best for bigger runs — team jerseys, staff tees, event shirts — where you need the same bold design on 12+ pieces. It's the standard for anything that needs to survive a season of wear and repeat washing without cracking or fading.

  • Team and league jerseys
  • Staff and uniform tees
  • Event and fundraiser shirts
  • Spirit wear for schools

Cost per piece drops fast as the run grows. Every extra ink colour adds a screen.

02

Embroidery

Polos, hats, jackets and uniforms that need to look sharp for years, not just survive one wash. The stitched finish reads as more premium than a printed logo, which is why it's the default for anything customer-facing.

  • Work polos and button-ups
  • Caps and toques
  • Fleece and softshell jackets
  • Anything customer-facing

Priced by stitch count, not colour count. Fine detail and small text need simplifying first.

03

DTF & Heat Press

Full-colour, photo-style artwork on small or mixed-size runs — a good fit for a one-off order or a design with more than a couple of colours. It also works on fabrics screen printing doesn't bond to well, like performance and blended materials.

  • One-offs and samples
  • Photo or gradient artwork
  • Names and numbers
  • Mixed garment types in one order

No screen setup, so small runs stay affordable. Per-piece cost stays flat as quantity climbs.

Design Assistance

Working from a blurry logo or an old JPG? We clean it up and get it print-ready before anything goes to production. Most cleanup work turns around within 24 hours, so it rarely adds real delay to your order.

  • Redrawing low-res logos
  • Colour separation for screens
  • Digitising for embroidery
  • Placement and sizing mockups

You approve a mockup before we touch a garment. Nothing goes to press unseen.

Who this is for

Custom Apparel Printing for Vancouver Businesses, Studios & Teams

Screen printing, embroidery and DTF for the businesses that make up Vancouver — studio merch, corporate apparel, staff uniforms and promotional products, produced in-house and shipped or delivered across the city.

Yoga, Pilates & Fitness Studios

Custom hoodies, crewnecks and embroidered caps for yoga studios, pilates studios, gyms and personal training brands across Vancouver — studio merch clients actually wear to the grocery store, not just a staff uniform they change out of after class.

This is the exact kind of order we ran for Oxygen Yoga & Fitness: a coordinated hoodie and cap collection, embroidered and screen printed in-house, built to survive a daily wash cycle without the logo cracking or fading.

Corporate Teams & Downtown Offices

Embroidered polos, custom fleece jackets and branded merchandise for corporate teams, startups and downtown Vancouver offices that want onboarding kits, team swag and client gifts to look like more than a printed logo on a free t-shirt.

From Yaletown to Mount Pleasant, we produce custom corporate apparel for offices that reorder the same design every time a new hire starts — the same thread colours and placement, every time, no rebuilding the file from scratch.

Restaurants, Cafés & Retail Brands

Custom aprons, staff caps and screen printed tees for independent cafés, breweries, restaurants and retail shops across Commercial Drive, Gastown and the rest of Vancouver — for businesses that treat staff uniforms as part of the brand, not an afterthought.

Built to survive a commercial kitchen and a daily wash without the print cracking — the same production standard behind every custom apparel order that comes out of our Surrey shop.

How it works

Five steps, no surprises

Standard turnaround is 7–10 business days, counted from the day you approve the mockup — not the day you first email us.

Tell us what you need

Give us the quantity, the garment, sizing, where the logo goes and your deadline. A rough idea is plenty to get a quote started.

We recommend a method

Screen print, embroidery or DTF — we'll tell you which one actually fits your artwork and budget, not just the one that's easiest for us.

Artwork gets mocked up

We prep or redraw the file and send back a mockup so you can see exact size and placement before anything goes to production.

You sign off

Production starts the moment you approve the mockup — that's when the 7–10 business day clock actually starts, not before.

Ships or gets delivered

Given the crossing into Vancouver, most orders go out by shipping or delivery rather than an in-person pickup — though pickup in Surrey is always on the table.

Questions

Ordering from Vancouver

No — we're not going to list a Vancouver address we don't actually work out of. Fresh Prints Supply runs out of Surrey, at 16051 80A Ave. Vancouver orders get the exact same production and turnaround as anything else out of this shop; they just ship or get delivered instead of being picked up.

It comes down to the crossing. Getting from Surrey into Vancouver usually means the Pattullo, Alex Fraser or Port Mann, and depending on when you're driving, that can add a real chunk of time each way. For nearer areas we'll sometimes suggest pickup; for Vancouver, shipping or delivery is almost always the better use of your time than building a drive around it.

In-house, in our Surrey shop — screen printing, embroidery and DTF are all done under one roof by us, not farmed out to a third-party printer we'd have to chase for answers.

Yes. Tell us the neighbourhood and when you need it, and we'll build delivery or shipping timing directly into your quote.

You're welcome to. The shop's open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 16051 80A Ave, if you'd rather grab the order yourself than wait on delivery.

Depends on the method: 12 pieces for screen printing, 6 for embroidery, and DTF or heat press can go down to a single piece — useful if you're testing a design before committing to a bigger run.

Rough rule of thumb: 12 or more of the same one- or two-colour design, screen printing wins on cost per piece. Smaller runs, mixed sizes, or full-colour and photographic artwork — DTF is usually the better call. Send us the design and quantity and we'll tell you which we'd actually run.

Standard turnaround is 7 to 10 business days, counted from the day you approve the mockup — not the day you first got in touch. Got a hard deadline? Say so up front and we'll tell you honestly whether it's realistic.

Yes — Pantone-matched ink for screen printing, and we keep your thread colour on file so embroidery reorders match the first run.

Yes. We hang onto the prepped artwork and specs from the original run — garment, placement, ink or thread colour — so a repeat order matches the first one instead of getting rebuilt from scratch.

Ready when you are, Vancouver.

Send us a quantity and a deadline. We'll tell you what it costs and whether we can hit the date — before you commit to anything.
