Restaurant and hospitality uniforms that survive a busy service

Restaurants, cafes, breweries, hotels and tour operators across Surrey, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland order staff uniforms from our Surrey, BC shop. Front-of-house shirts, kitchen aprons, caps and guest merch are printed or embroidered in-house, so the logo on a server’s shirt in March matches the one on a new hire’s shirt in August.

Hospitality uniforms get washed constantly and worn for long shifts, so the garment matters as much as the print. Printed staff tees suit fast casual and cafe teams, while embroidered polos, button-ups and aprons suit hosts, servers and hotel front desks. If you are setting up a whole system for a restaurant, our restaurant uniform system guide covers kits by role, washing and reorders in detail.

Nando’s ordered black staff t-shirts with the red logo printed on the chest, which is a front-of-house uniform done about as simply as it gets. A dark shirt hides the marks of a long shift, and one clear print still reads from across a busy dining room.

    Planning tips

Front-of-house and back-of-house kits that are easy to reorder

Restaurants hire all year, so uniforms are never a one-time order. The easiest way to keep every role looking consistent is to define a kit for each role once, approve the mockups, and then reorder from the same specs every time you hire.

    Define one kit per role

    • Front of house: a printed tee or an embroidered polo, plus a waist or bib apron for servers.
    • Back of house: durable tees and caps or toques that stand up to heat and frequent washing.
    • Managers and hosts: an embroidered polo or button-up that sets them apart from the floor team.

Reorder by role, not from scratch

Once a kit is approved, the artwork, garment, placement and ink or thread colours stay saved on file. When you hire, send us the role and the sizes and we produce matching pieces. Keep a small stock of the most common sizes as well, so a new hire can start in uniform on day one while the next order runs.

    Plan around your seasons

Patio season and holiday catering both bring hiring spikes. Order before those spikes, and allow for production time: printed tees take 2–7 business days, embroidered pieces take 2–7 business days.

What is the minimum for embroidered aprons?

Embroidery order size: no minimum (1 piece is fine). A small cafe can order one pack and reorder later from the same artwork.

Can we uniform the whole restaurant in one order?

Yes. Front-of-house shirts, aprons and kitchen pieces can be quoted and produced together, with a mockup for each garment and one ready date.

How do reorders work when we hire?

Your approved artwork and garment specs are saved on file. Send the role, the sizes and the quantity, and the new pieces are made to match the originals. No account is needed.

Should staff uniforms be printed or embroidered?

Printed tees are the economical choice for large casual teams. Embroidery suits polos, button-ups and aprons, where a stitched logo looks more formal. Plenty of restaurants use both, split by role.

Can you make merch we sell to guests?

Yes. Tees, hoodies and caps for a taproom, counter or hotel shop are quoted the same way as staff apparel, with a mockup first.

Can you match our brand colours on every role?

Yes. Screen printed pieces use Pantone-matched ink, and embroidered pieces use the closest thread colours, which we keep on file. Send your colour codes with the logo so aprons, polos and tees all match.

Vancouver restaurants can read about ordering from Vancouver. Office and admin staff are covered on our corporate apparel page.
