Event t-shirt printing in Surrey, planned around your date
An event date does not move, so event apparel has to be planned backwards from it. We handle event t-shirt printing in Surrey for runs, charity walks, tournaments, festivals, conferences and community days across the Lower Mainland, with every shirt printed in-house at our shop on 80A Avenue. Participant shirts, volunteer and staff shirts, and sponsor pieces can all run in one job with one ready date.

Back-scheduling from your event date
Start with the day the shirts are handed out and count backwards. Each stage has to finish before the next one starts, so the latest safe date for every step is easy enough to work out on a calendar.
Hand-out day
Plan to have the boxes in hand at least a few days before the event, so volunteers can sort sizes in advance and nobody is waiting on a courier on the morning of the run.
Production
Standard screen printing takes 2–7 business days. Counted from the day you approve your mockup. Count those business days back from the date you want the boxes, skipping weekends and statutory holidays.
Mockup approval
Approval often takes longer than printing, because sponsors send logos late or a committee has to vote on the design. Book a firm approval date with your committee and treat that date as the deadline that matters.
Quote and artwork
Ask for a quote as soon as you know the rough quantity and the design. Quote reply: within one business day. Artwork that needs cleaning up is handled before the mockup is made, so send logos as early as you can get them.
Rush turnaround may be available on request. If your date is already close, tell us when you ask for the quote and we will say straight away whether it can be done.
Screen printing or DTF for an event?
For a large run of one design in one or two colours, screen printing gives the lowest price per shirt, which is why most participant shirts are screen printed. DTF has no screens to set up, so it suits small batches, full-colour artwork, photo prints and shirts that each need a different name. Plenty of events use both: screen printing for the main run, DTF for a handful of staff shirts with names on them. Send the artwork and the quantity and we will tell you which one fits the job.

How early should we order event shirts?
Add up the steps: a few days for the quote and artwork, your committee’s approval time, 2–7 business days for printing, and a few days to sort and hand out. Starting early leaves room for late sponsors.
Can participant and volunteer shirts run in one order?
Yes. Each design gets its own mockup and approval, and all of them are produced together toward the same ready date.
How do you place sponsor logos?
Send the sponsor list with tiers and vector logos where possible. We size each logo by tier on the mockup so you can show sponsors exactly what they are getting before printing.
What if a sponsor confirms after we approve?
Tell us straight away. A change after approval means a new mockup, and the production time is counted from the new approval, so late changes can move your ready date.
How many shirts should we order?
Start from registrations plus volunteers, then add a small buffer in the most common sizes. Our ordering timeline guide has a quantity calculator by event type.
Do you deliver to the venue?
Pick up at our Surrey shop, or we ship to your door anywhere in Canada. Tell us the venue and the latest time the boxes can arrive, and we will confirm the options with your quote.
